SINERGIA SUMMER CAMP - Oliveira do Hospital

sinergia-logo-website1SINERGIA is a concept where different music genres gather together in the same dance floor. Inspired by the musical crossovers held in the late 1970s and mid 1980s in places such as Detroit, Chicago and Goa, where DJs were using records and tapes from different music styles in order to create new music.

Sinergia wants to bring back the crossover, the crosspolination, the diversity on the dance floor: you can listen techno, trance or progressive in the same place, being played to the same crowd. No differences, just electronic music. Some of the most forward thinking DJs and live acts from trance, progressive and techno will perform together in a event, held in a forest in Portugal, in an intimate atmosphere.

Stereo Addiction are gearing up to make a new music video, but they can’t do it without your help!

We’re looking for 50 couples who would be willing to kiss on camera. For those who want to participate, check the photos section of this event to see the storyboard detailing the plot of the video. If you feel like you would up for it, challenge your significant other and send us an e-mail along with a picture of you and your partner to bepartofthevideo@stereoaddiction.com

We’re looking for people of all ages, from 18 onwards, all races and religions. We are not looking for a definitive style, and are open to everyone.

All the participants will get an exclusive mix from us as a thank you, plus special guest list for next gigs and the chance to come and party with us on the backstage at Festival Sudoeste this summer.

Stereo Addiction is a DJ duo whose growing demand, in their home country of Portugal and abroad, is due to their undeniable ability to rock any dancefloor, anytime, anywhere.

They have converted masses of clubbers at every turn due to their explosive, addictive fusion of Techno, House and Electro and their down to earth attitude and friendly approachability. They believe in what they do, they do it well and they’re only getting better.

Since 2001, Gustavo & John-E have forged an enviable position for themselves within Portugal's burgeoning club scene. Their nascent sound drew from the Progressive scene and, although they have always subscribed to forward thinking forms of dance music, they have since evolved to absorb the more streamlined textures of Berlin and Cologne. In Portugal they are the figureheads of a rapidly growing movement that has revitalized the country's club culture. If you haven't caught one of their high octane dj sets you haven't wanted to.
