Após um período que viu a dupla de DJ’s mais funky de Portugal a focar-se mais no trabalho em estúdio (de onde resultaram vários temas novos incluíndo a remistura da faixa “Saudade” dos Macacos do Chinês que já está em rotação na Antena 3 e Oxigénio) John-E e Gustavo estão de regresso às actuações ao vivo e vão subir à cabine da Box no Urban Beach esta próxima quinta-feira dia 8 de Abril. Acompanhados por DJ Glue, o homem que assume o comando dos pratos na maior crew de Hip Hop nacional - os Da Weasel - Os Stereo Addiction prometem fazer de esta quinta feira uma noite a não perder.
Gustavo Rodrigues e John-E vão participar num novo conceito que vai arrancar já esta próxima sexta-feira no Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara - as Madame Soirées. Os meses de Abril e Maio vão contar com DJ sets de alguns dos artistas mais interessantes do underground Lisboeta incluíndo 
Gustavo and John-E have been invited to headline a huge MTV party at the Zmar Eco Camping Resort in Zambujeira do Mar on Saturday the 10th of April. The event is called MTV Insomnia, and those funky people at MTV Portugal couldn’t have chosen a more fitting headlining act, since Stereo Addiction made their name playing to crowds all over Portugal, and abroad, in the small hours of the morning. Joining the guys in the DJ booth will be lisbon’s grooviest female DJ duo Heartbreakerz, another name that should be very familiar to insomniacs all over Portugal. The guys and girls are set to provide all those in attendance with a night filled with the funkiest tech house, and most pounding techno music this side of the river Tejo. Gustavo and John-e’s new bi-monthly residency at Porto’s hottest club, 
Stereo Addiction’s latest video “Human” is about to go into rotation, this upcoming weekend on MTV Portugal. The video was directed by Luís Alegre, produced by Madame and Buenos Aires, starring a select group of friends, fans and family and it represents yet another step on Stereo Addiction’s path to world domination. Gustavo and John-e have been interviewed for an upcoming television show called 
Os Macacos do Chinês, uma das bandas portuguesas mais interessantes e talentosas dos últimos anos, pediram a Stereo Addiction uma remistura ao seu último single “Saudade“. O resultado é uma fusão do tech house mais groovy dos Stereo Addiction com o som ecléctico e urbano dos MDC. A faixa está disponível para download na compra da revista Timeout desta semana (siga as instruções na página 55 para fazer o download). Segundo os Stereo Addiction “Não há muitos portugueses a tentarem um approach mais “tech” ao hip hop ou dubstep nacional, esta é a nossa interpretação da fusão de dois estilos tão diferentes. O nosso objectivo foi tentar quebrar um bocado o preconceito do “happy house” que tem tido mais destaque nas pistas de dança ao longo deste ano”.
