After an epic Christmas bash, that people are still talking about in hushed tones, Cabaret brings you another awesome event. Friday the 24th of July at LX Factory there will be two floors filled with groundbreaking music. The first floor sees local heroes Stereo Addiction joining forces with Germany’s own Patrick Zigon. With a slew of releases on such notorious labels as Cocoon, Trapez, Great Stuff or Kling Klong and remixes for the likes of Extrawelt, Gui Boratto and Martin Eyerer, Patrick Zigon will undoubtedly be bringing his A-Game to the latest Cabaret event. On the second floor party goers will be treated to a whole host of eclectic sounds courtesy of DJ Ride and X-Acto. DJ Ride is Portugal’s DMC champion, his unparalleled scratching skills have seen him play gigs all over Europe and he has just released his first record on OPTIMUS DISCOS to critical acclaim. X-Acto is Ride’s partner and crime and a member of SUPA team who recently represented Portugal at the 2008 World DMC Championship in London, together they will bring a unique urban flavour to the proceedings. Stereo Addiction’s brand new video for their latest track is coming. The new promo clip has been in the works for a few months now, but we at Madame Management are proud to announce that, after a lengthy recruiting campaign in collaboration with Myspace, a very tiring but productive and fullfilling day of shooting, and a few weeks in the editing bay, the new video is almost here. The final touches are being added and the early cut is looking great.
Stereo Addiction would like to thank all those people who participated in the making of the video, namely the director Luís Alegre who worked tirelessly to make sure every shot looked as good as possible, the production company Buenos Aires, the director of photography Luis Campos, their manager Madame, whose role as a producer was indispensable, Myspace, who sponsored the search for extras, and finally a very special thank you goes out to the stars of the promo clip - all the fans, friends and family who turned up to show their support and participate in the shoot. Stereo Addiction have been chosen by Vodafone to share the stage with Portugal’s biggest hip hop crew, Da Weasel. This gig is another in a series of concerts organised by Vodafone to promote portuguese music . The pairing is a perfect match with Stereo Addiction’s powerful sound complementing Da Weasel’s big, brash hip hop tunes. The concert will take place in Setubal, so make sure to catch this groundbreaking event as it is only a short drive from Lisbon.

Part of the Vodafone Music project, the Flash Concerts involve mounting a different show at each venue in a ‘flash’ operation, setting up and taking down the stage – a truck – on the day of the performance.
The Vodafone Music project aims to bring music fans together with Portuguese artists by setting up and producing original music events. The project plans to mount initiatives that will bring music to the main entertainment venues all over Portugal.
ALWAYS FRIDAY is a weekly club night at Egg in London’s Kings Cross. Specialised in showcasing up and coming underground talent alongside some of the more established names in the dance music community.
Featuring DJs and live acts playing club-orientated electronic music of the Electro / Techno / House / Minimal varieties.. The Egg is the first venue of its size to push underground styles.
Artists to feature at the night so far include: Joakim, JoJo De Freq, Riton, Azzido Da Bass, Freeform Five, Friendly Fires, Bart B More, Dusty Kid, AudioJack, Jesper Dahlback, The Bloody Beetroots and loads more.
SINERGIA is a concept where different music genres gather together in the same dance floor. Inspired by the musical crossovers held in the late 1970s and mid 1980s in places such as Detroit, Chicago and Goa, where DJs were using records and tapes from different music styles in order to create new music.
Sinergia wants to bring back the crossover, the crosspolination, the diversity on the dance floor: you can listen techno, trance or progressive in the same place, being played to the same crowd. No differences, just electronic music. Some of the most forward thinking DJs and live acts from trance, progressive and techno will perform together in a event, held in a forest in Portugal, in an intimate atmosphere.
