Since 2001, Gustavo & John-E have forged an enviable position for themselves within Portugal's burgeoning club scene. Their nascent sound drew from the Progressive scene and, although they have always subscribed to forward thinking forms of dance music, they have since evolved to absorb the more streamlined textures of Berlin and Cologne. In Portugal they are the figureheads of a rapidly growing movement that has revitalized the country's club culture. If you haven't caught one of their high octane dj sets you haven't wanted to.
